Support
Need help with Sona, found a bug, or have a question about your account? Email us at support@sona.study. We read every message and usually reply within a couple of days.
What to include
So we can help on the first reply, tell us: the email address on your Sona account; whether you're using the web app, iOS, or Android; and a short description of what you expected to happen and what happened instead. A screenshot helps if something looks wrong.
How do I delete my account?
You can do it yourself, permanently, from Settings → Account. Type your email address to confirm, then Delete account — the same option exists in the mobile app under Settings → Account. There's no recovery grace period. If you pay through Stripe on the web, we cancel that subscription for you as part of the deletion; if you subscribed through the App Store or Google Play, cancel there separately — deleting your Sona account does not stop those charges. See our Privacy Policy for exactly what is and isn't removed.
How do I cancel my subscription?
It depends on where you subscribed. If you subscribed on the web, go to Settings → Plan and use Manage billing — that opens Stripe's billing portal, where you can cancel, switch billing period, or update your payment method. If you subscribed in the iPhone or iPad app, open Settings, then Apple Account → Subscriptions. If you subscribed in the Android app, open the Play Store app, then Payments & subscriptions. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep Pro until the end of the period you've already paid for, and downgrading to Free never deletes or hides anything you've created.
How do I request a copy of my data?
You can export the cards in any deck you own as a CSV file from that deck's page at any time (front and back text only — not media, personal notes, or review history). For anything beyond that — a copy of your personal data, a correction, or a deletion request — email support@sona.study, which reaches the same team as the contact address in our Privacy Policy. Tell us which account the request is for and we'll confirm before acting on it.
For the full detail on what we collect and how we handle it, see our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
